Back Ups- Close down at night. |
Please remember to shut your PC down at night, or, if you are a "Remote Worker" make sure you have logged off. Reason being, any files "in use / open" are skipped from the back up's that start at 11.00pm

Windows-7 Now Being Tested: Yip, it's Faster than XP. |
 | We now have this latest Operating System running. It's the replacement for the less-than-popular Vista system. Initial results are very impressive, with performance the main feature. All programs, so far, are working faultlessly. Due for release in the last quarter of 2009. What didn't work: My Zebra Label printer, well it is 8yrs old. My second monitor, that's a bummer, a new graphics card will need to be fitted. Approx £30.00 Click here for a very short (2min) Demo, speakers would be handy. | |

Windows 7 Testers required |
 | To get ready for the new version of Windows, I'm going to install "Dual Boot" hard drives in a few of my Clients PC's. This will let you use the excellent Win-7, and if something doesn;t work, simply reboot into your Windows XP drive. Let me know if you'd like to try this software, and provide feed back. | |

How long does it take your PC to Boot Up and get going? There are several things that can be done to "Boost" performance, such as;
- 1. Remove unnecessary software (Yahoo and Google Toolbars etc)
- 2. Remove unused “Start Up” programs.
- 3. Clean unused files.
- 4. Clean Registry.
- 5 Remove old printers.
- 6 Change Page file x1.5 RAM
- 7 Defragment Hard Drive and reboot.
If you would like a Tune Up, drop me an email letting me know when’s a good time (day off, regular lunch time etc) and I’ll connect in and tune it up for you.
